Med Juba kan man veldig enkelt og relativt billig eie musikken i mp3-format istedet for å laste ned illegalt eller streame fra MySpace, YouTube, Spotify og liknende. Kan dette kanskje bli et nytt alternativ til NRK Urørt, i det minste et sted midt i mellom den tidligste etableringsfasen og senere eventuell suksess?
Naturligvis finnes det mange andre måter som sikkert er mer fordelaktige for indie-artistene å selge musikken sin på, men det interessante med Juba er at Platekompaniet er en ganske sterk merkevare som har mulighet til å samle veldig mye usignert musikk og gjøre det tilgjengelig på ett og samme sted.
Det blir spennende å se hvordan Juba blir brukt fremover og å høre hvor mye artistenene etterhvert får utbetalt.
