Torsdag fjerde mars hadde Raga Rockers releasekonsert på Månefisken i Oslo. Bransje og inviterte gjester fikk se et band i form og Ragamusikken gjør seg enda fantastisk bra live. Bra lyd, bra stemning, gode låter – med andre ord, Raga Rockers leverte!
Jeg har sett Raga Rockers live en del ganger og sjeldent har jeg blitt skuffa. Sist gang jeg så Raga Rockers var i Tromsø på Buktafestivalen i 2008. Den konserten endte i bakken for min egen del. Michael Krohn kastet en ølboks utover folkemengden før han gikk av scena. Ølboksen traff meg midt i fleisen og resulterte i blåøye og ølvått tøy. Likevel, til tross for ufrivillig blink, så opplevde jeg en herlig konsert.
Raga åpnet showet på Månefisken med låter fra den nye skiva «Shit Happens» Plata har fått litt variert omtale, men det er absolutt ei plate som er verdt å skaffe seg. Raga Rockers spilte blant annet låtene «Paradox», «Antitrist», «Jenter som kommer» og «Det søte liv».
Gutta på scena var tente. Michael Krohns hoftevrikk funker enda. Stemningen var god, men steg betraktelig da Krohn annonserte; ”Nå får det holde med ny dritt. Da spiller vi noe gammel dritt” De åpnet slagerrekka med «Radiator» . Fulgte på med «Hun er fri», «Slakt», «Aldri Mer» og avsluttet en knapp times konsert med «Noen å hate».
Jeg smilte. Gutta på scena smilte. Folka rundt smilte.
Det er alltid en spesiell stemning når Raga Rockers har konsert. Folka, intimiteten og Ragasounden er med på å skape en herlig atmosfære. Det er virkelig godt å se at Raga Rocker enda holder koken og liv i norsk Rock`n roll.
Raga Rockers er nå ute på Norgesturné. På onsdag spiller de på Folken i Stavanger – og jeg anbefaler absolutt et konsertbesøk!
